institution down!

"the whole educational and professional training system is a very elaborate filter, which just weeds out people who are too independent, and who think for themselves, and who don't know how to be submissive, and so on -- because they're dysfunctional to the institutions."

Surf AND Yoga??!! Yes please!!

Ok, how wonderful does this sound??
Sayulita is only 45 minutes or so from where we will be staying for a month.  May have to take some day trips and check out some of this lovely action!  Eddie would LOVE to surf!!

Yoga & Surfing in Sayulita, Mexico

Class Details

Andrea and Erik are excited to share an amazing week of fun and fluidity. Together they will create active and dynamic morning practices building heat with the rising sun and more restorative evening classes to sink into the evening, combining traditional vinyasa with evening yin yoga, chi gung, dance, Thai massage and partner asanas. This unique week will allow you to dive into the Pacific and catch some waves while at the same time delve into the exploration of surfing internal prana and learning the art of liquid wave riding. Erik and Andrea will also provide karma yoga opportunities with the local school children or community gardening and beach clean ups. Come explore the inner realm of possibility, dance your asana, catch a wave, watch the wale migration, sip some sunshine, drink a from a coconut, and study the deep inner science of hammock heaven, starting a new year clear and refreshed, enlivened and full of inspiration for the best year ever!

Day of the dead

Working on the birthday party for the kids.  I love that I gave birth to them on the same day, five years apart.
So the party will be a Sponge bob/Princess Party.  The number one requested item by Eddie was the pinata...a baseball shaped one.
Check!!

Ten days after the party we fly to Mexico, on Halloween.  And yes, the kids are going to be flying in costume.  Eddie is a Transformer and Tamra Rose is little glow in the dark skeleton.  We get to Mexico early in the afternoon so they will get to enjoy Halloween, Mexican style.  And then we get to do The Day Of The Dead and all that fun as well.  I am probably more excited for this Halloween then any other in my adult life.  :)
