I need some wine so I can deal with the whining, is I believe, a direct quote of something I said to mom earlier. For some reason everyone (mostly Tamra Rose, I will admit it, sorry Tam Tam) was very craaankers today.
There happened to be some moments of happy baby (she loves to go for rides on my back in the Ergo...in fact she freaks out and will stand by it holding on to it and crying until I put it on), she loves the beach...well, that is about all she loved today.
(Side note, my GOD, if they guy who lives above us hacks one more damn flem filled mouth full on the stairs I will go ape crazy on his ass!
Just wanted to throw that out there.)
We visited a little farmer's market one block from us today. It just started back up again for the season, it is every Saturday and has some local organic foods and produce available. Also available, random nick knacks, yummy baked goods, homemade body care items, herbs, cheeses, it is pretty nice.
The only downside, in my humble (ha!) opinion is that since it is on Saturday's, it is crammed full of tourists and about five million old, white people with their little dogs shopping for the nicest loaf of bread or some new dog treats.
Yahoo.
I was enjoying this area all week before the cruise ships docked and before people flew in for the weekend. I am selfish, I know. I don't like sharing.
(OH MY GOD. Upstairs guy has his IM open and on the highest volume EVER. And from the sounds of it, he is pretty damn popular. AND he is dancing around and singing to some pop song.)
We went across the street to the pool after the market and Eddie did some floating and swimming for a little while, however we did not stay because there happened to be a large local family there, ten or more people, and they where in the midst of a relay race. No joke friends. They really had a race going! And it was awesome. I laughed extremely hard, as did they.
From there we wandered down to the beach, where I chased Tamra Rose while Grandma and Eddie went into the ocean. This is when fussy baby came out, and I have the pictures to prove it!! :)
(OH EWWWW!!! Another one!! Seriously! I am going to call him mucus man.)
When we went home, shoved under the door was a flyer to a sushi place called Tsunami. Tamra and I walked down there to pick some food up for dinner, and it was really nice. All the fish I chose was caught here in Mexico, they knew tons about sushi and fish in general, one of the girls working there actually moved form Japan to Mexico six months ago-how cool is that? I stayed and talked with her for quite a while, she is learning English and her Spanish is already quite good.
I told her I was quite jealous.
:)
Off to read, before crashing for the night.
