Sounds I am hearing right now:
car racing up the street very very fast (however, this is a good thing because for many cars getting up this hill would not happen if they did not turn that corner and zip up as fucking (there, I did it, I just broke my no swearing today rule, watch out!!) fast as they could)
neighbors going up and down the stairs (sometimes singing, too often times spitting)
the burro from up the hill braying (hola my friend)
3 guys walking by laughing, 1 says "I'm not that kinda girl anymoooore!!, NO! *sigh* NO! i have learned from my mistakes! stooop it! no, stoooop it! i HAVE!!" followed by much male laughter. (have i mentioned that this is a "gay" area?? as in lots of signs up saying "guys gone WILD" & "lots of sexy male on male fun!!" No? well, I should have mentioned that, it makes a lot of things make more sense.)

lots of music, lots of people walking by singing
Things that have dropped on my foot:
A lizard. OK, sure, that is only ONE thing, but. it. was. a. lizard. I was surprised, but i did not scream. he ran away. end of story.
